I purchased 5 of these for my Juki DDL8700-H. Out of the 5, only 1 would work on my bobbin winder. These bobbins have the open holes on both sides. The bobbins that came with the machine have holes on 1 side and work perfect, I was just needing more. I opened up the piece that the bobbin sits on while it's being wound, but they still won't wind.
I ordered 15 and some of them fit adequately, maybe 8 fit perfectly and 3 are so large, the bobbin winder won’t wind the bobbin. I won’t return because the cost of postage is more than they are worth. Maybe they should be tested before mailing out?
With respect to the other review, these bobbins are exceptionally great quality. I have bought the Juki brand before specifically for my beloved Juki 8700-7 and many of those “original” bobbins have the same problem of not fitting well. My solution was to add some Scotch tape to the bobbing feeder stick and that solved my problem. I bought a bunch of Wawak awesomely priced bobbins and I will do the same if I have the same issue. I am not affiliated or anything like that. Only thing I know is that Wawak is my to go website for all my sewing/design needs. Period. No other store can even come cloose.
