I’m looking to layer cotton and chiffon. Someone suggested sharp needles like this for best results. Will these work in a Brother CS6000i? Do you have a size recommendation for three layers of cotton and one of chiffon?

Hello! Yes, this needle system would work in your Brother CS6000i machine. A regular or a microtip needle would work well. We are assuming the cotton fabric is not very thick, so a size 12-14 needle would work well.

Thank you for your question. Yes, this is the same needle system as the 130/705H and will work for most home sewing machines.

We would recommend at least a size 14 but may need to go larger depending on how thick the thread is you are using. A size 14 needle is mostly used with Tex 40 thread.

Will these needles work with my Juki HZL F-600 sewing machine? I sew through a PUL/woven cotton combination for the Days for Girls charity. I sew through the same combination on my Babylock Victory serger and could use them there also if they would work. This second machine is still new to me and I am not sure what needles to purchase. Thank you for your help. I have enjoyed purchasing good quality polyester serger and sewing machine thread through you for my charity sewing.

Hello, and thanks for your question. Yes, this needle system and time would work well for the polyurethane laminated fabric. Great question!

My machine takes an Organ HAx1 needle, but it will also work with a Schmetz needle. I have been using the Microtex Schmetz 90/14 with success, but I was considering using a comparable Organ needle if you have one. I quite often sew on vinyl and cotton and make handbags. Would these needles work on my machine and be comparable to the Schmetz Microtex Needles?

Hi, yes, the Organ Microtex and the Schmetz Microtex needles would be compatible and we think you'd be very happy with their performance. However, if you try than and are unsatisfied, contact us. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy. Thanks for your question.
